INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE
OMEGA 350
BRIEF
Redesign the UI/UX of the existing control box of Omega 350
injection molding machine
OBJECTIVE
Identifying the complexities present in UI/UX and simplifying it.
Developing an intuitive interface by creating hierarchy using cognitive
sense and task analysis for efficient use.
INJECTION MOLDING
Injection moldings is a manufacturing process for producing parts by
injecting molten material into a mold, or mold. Injection molding can
be performed with a host of materials mainly including metals, glasses,
elastomers, confections, and most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.
RESEARCH
Detail research was done considering all stakeholders. Research was conducted in CEIPT Sonipat to understand how the users behave with the injection molding machine to know each of their role in the system. This helped in documenting the major task flow and hierarchy while using it.
